Welcome to VITeach

VITeach is a non-profit organization founded and run by a group of motivated students from Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, who are driven by the passion for change. With an assortment of 161 active members, the club has been able to directly impact the lives of over 4,83,400 students along the years.

With 3 schools under the club, Adi Dravida Welfare (ADW) Middle School, Melakkottaiyur and GHS Kandigai being its primary projects, the members of VITeach have worked around the clock to ensure that these children’s lives have been positively impacted.
VITeach aims not only to teach the kids, but to also provide them with an environment where they can grow unhindered just like how a seed transforms into a young sampling when provided with light, water, love and care. Taking that extra effort is what VITeach is all about.

Since its inception in the year 2013, VITeach has evolved from a club that helped students with basic and conversational English in a single government school, to a club that has completed several projects with a focus on interactive learning. Now, it is emerging further with the aim of providing quality education through online resources.
VITeach seeks equal and quality education for all, especially for those who are denied equity in resources and opportunities. The organization has members from all branches of engineering and other majors like Law, MBA etc. who have all come together to work for a common goal - the betterment of those less fortunate than themselves.

The club’s vision of bestowing upon the under-privileged students an opportunity to get the resources they deserve and have a solid chance at contributing to society, is what has ensured that VITeach has remained strong, 8 years and counting.

VITeacher Tales

In VITeacher Tales, read stories narrated by VITeachers about their magical experiences and memories. From talking about their favorite teachers bringing smiles on their faces and inspiring them to be what they are today, to being a reason of smile for someone, these stories are an emotional roller-coaster ride with happiness as its final station. It will surely inspire you to be a part of this impactful community. Get ready, for these tales are going to light a spark of bliss and ignite a fire that warms your heart.




Digital Library

Digital library is like the war-room of VITeach, a place where all the planning, mapping and assigning are done. It is also the storage vault of all the contents to be taught to the students of different schools handled by VITeach. Here in digital Library, we have a team of 45 members which is divided into 3 sub-teams - Syllabus & Worksheet team, Presentation team and Video team. VITeach handles the classes from 1st grade to 8th grade in ADW school and GHS school. All the contents created by the sub-teams are stored in seperate drives and supervised by Office Bearers for further development.
