Benoy's Tale

Coming to VITeach was an eye-opening experience for me which provided me with numerous heart-warming interactions with the tiny tots. Be it their little mischievous behaviours or their bustling energy in every fun activity we bring, we learnt more and more from them in every visit.

There was supposed to be an image

Their eagerness and enthusiasm to participate in any activity be it drawing, spotting differences in images or giving speeches brought me immense joy. Looking at the kids' colorful and imaginative drawings took me back to a time when I used to draw just like them. With their tiny hands and pencils and crayons they created brought to life worlds that only existed in each of their own minds. The way they would innocently ask every question that came to their mind made me want to be so much more like them. Their cheerful smiles when they welcomed us into their classes was the best and my favorite part of the day and their sad faces when we had to leave was the least.

There was supposed to be an image

They taught me to go and express myself to the world without any fear of failure. Somewhere along the lines of adulting we have lost our inquisitive nature and stopped trying out new things. Seeing the kids once again reminded me that the path to the pursuit of happiness was not success alone, but living in the moment and embracing the unknown.
