Ever since I was young, I've always loved making others smile and helping those in need. During my school years, I visited an old age home to celebrate Christmas, and the happy faces I saw there inspired me to help even more. When I came to campus in my third year, VITeach provided the perfect opportunity for that. Seeing the smiles on the children's faces while teaching them English was heartwarming, and I'll always cherish those memories.
Every time I went to the school, I was greeted by the kids with a cheerful "Hiii Joel annaa," and I am happy I could guide them throughout my journey with VITeach! The stationery distribution event is particularly close to my heart. We spent days collecting supplies from fellow VITians, and teachers, and finally, delivering those presents to the children was a beautiful culmination of our efforts.
I miss being a VITeacher now, but I'm confident that wherever I go, I'll find ways to bring smiles to children who need them.
