Being in college, I was one of those who were just excited to do random new things. Flying free with my limited friend circle was my perfect routine until the spirit of clubs came upon all the students. And just like that, without knowing what I was going into, I joined VITeach with my friends as they were joining it too. I knew that it was something related to teaching, which I have been doing for a long time (for my siblings and friends). So I was excited to do that on a bigger scale.
But I had an even bigger surprise in the name of COVID-19. Which completely made us shut off with offline physical interactions, I felt so bad about that. Since I was part of the club, I had to choose something and I ended up in the Web Development Team. And from there it has been a whirl for us. During the lockdown, we had to work on the very platform through which you are reading this, i.e, our website. And believe me, that was not easy at all. It consisted of a load full of mistakes and months of work. But due course it's the result that matters, it was that which pushed us ahead. We worked on developing new elements like the Digital Library and videos that were used to teach during the online mode of learning. Eventually, I stepped ahead as head of the web development department which also functioned completely under me during covid. But still, I am waiting for an opportunity to teach kids offline, hopefully I'll get one sometime soon!
